Year-end review: 73 standards issued or implemented in the feed industry in 2018
Looking back on 2018, the aquaculture industry has continued to have small and medium-sized feed mills closed down, and there are still feed mills with sales rising against the trend. The industry is still changing, developing and transforming;

Looking back on 2018, the aquaculture industry has seen the closure of small and medium-sized feed factories, and the sales volume of feed factories is still rising against the trend. The industry is still changing, developing and transforming. At the same time, there are continuous updates and releases of standards. According to the statistics of China Feed Industry Information Network, there are 73 standards issued or implemented in three categories in the feed industry in 2018, namely:
1. 31 mandatory standards:
The GB13078-2017 of Feed Hygienic Standards issued on October 14, 2017 and implemented from May 1, 2018;
Corn GB1353-2018 issued on July 13, 2018 and implemented on February 1, 2019;
There are 29 mandatory standards for feed additives such as amino acids, vitamins and mineral elements;
2. 39 recommended standards:
"Feed Raw Material Soybean Meal GB/T 19541-2017" issued on July 12, 2017 and implemented from February 1, 2018;
General Requirements for Natural Plant Feed Ingredients GB/T 19424-2018 issued on October 10, 2018 and implemented on May 1, 2019;
The determination methods of salmonella, crude protein, calcium and phosphorus in feed were also updated;
3. 3 group standards:
"Piglets, Growing and Fattening Pigs Compound Feed" and "Laying Hens, Broilers Compound Feed" issued by China Feed Industry Association on October 26, 2018 and implemented on November 1, 2018;
Beijing biological feed industry technology innovation strategic alliance table transformation technology committee and other 8 enterprises released on January 1, 2018, March 1, 2018 to implement the "biological feed product classification" group standard.
